Didier Deschamps has revealed France's final 26-player squad for the 2026 World Cup, led by captain Kylian Mbappé and excluding Eduardo Camavinga due to injury.
Didier Deschamps presented the roster on TF1. He explained Camavinga's omission by citing the midfielder's difficult season at Real Madrid. Mbappé posted on social media that he felt "immense pride" at leading the team again. The squad includes surprise call-ups for goalkeeper Robin Risser and striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. Deschamps confirmed this will be his final tournament as coach. The World Cup runs from 11 June to 19 July 2026.
