On Tuesday (January 20), internet users noticed the absence of Pedro's photo from the BBB26 participants frame on Globo's digital platforms, sparking discussions on social media. This removal is unusual and typically linked to expulsions from the reality show, unlike Henri Castelli's departure after seizures, whose image remains in black and white to indicate elimination.
Pedro voluntarily quit on Sunday (January 18), after attempting to kiss Jordana in the pantry. In the confessional shown live by Tadeu Schmidt, the former participant admitted misreading signals. “For days I wanted to hold back from wanting others, coveting others. With the girls and especially Jordana, because she looks a lot like my wife. And today I coveted her, desired her. I thought she had given me the green light and it was reciprocal,” he stated.
He added: “From what I saw, it was all in my head. I said let's go look for a baby liss and, when we got to the pantry, I tried to kiss her. I got it wrong, that wasn't what she wanted.” Tadeu Schmidt condemned the behavior and told the housemates that, had Pedro not pressed the quit button, he would have been expelled.
Fábia Oliveira's column contacted Globo for clarification on the image removal but received no response by press time. The decision underscores the program's ethical boundaries in harassment cases.
