Halo: Campaign Evolved Teases Halo 2 Remake

Halo: Campaign Evolved contains post-credits scenes that point to a remake of Halo 2. The hidden endings appear in the early access version of the game. Halo Studios developed the title.

Players who complete the Legendary difficulty mode see Sgt. Johnson on a beach watching the original ending before turning to the camera and saying, “See you in the sequel.” A separate post-credits scene shows 343 Guilty Spark flying toward a gas giant facility, directly referencing the start of Halo 2.

The game includes assets such as the SMG, battle rifle, vehicle boarding mechanics, and Brutes that first appeared in Halo 2. These elements suggest the studio prepared content for future projects while building the current remake.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is available now through special early access editions on PS5, Xbox, and PC. It reaches all players on July 28.
