Intern doctor Dr. Siti Zahra Maghfira was found dead after falling from the 18th floor of Kalibata City apartment in Pancoran, South Jakarta, on Sunday 26 July 2026. Police are still investigating the cause.
The Pancoran police sector stated that the investigation is ongoing. Investigators have examined several witnesses including apartment security personnel but have not yet concluded the exact cause of the incident.
The Pancoran police chief said on Monday 27 July 2026 that examinations were limited to witnesses at the scene. All possibilities are still being explored based on statements and evidence collected.
Police have not been able to communicate with the victim's family due to their grief. Investigators also cannot yet confirm the hospital where Dr. Siti Zahra Maghfira was completing her internship. The apartment unit door was locked from the inside so the crime scene examination has not been completed.
