PBNU Vice Chairman KH Zulfa Mustofa will launch his book Ithafu Ummati Al Muqtafa on Friday, 10 July 2026, in Jakarta. The event serves as an offering to the ummah and an effort to revive the tradition of writing books within NU.
The book launch and discussion will take place at Aula Sakinah, Masjid Sunda Kelapa, Menteng, Central Jakarta, at 19:00 WIB. KH Zulfa Mustofa said the activity is a momentum to revive the intellectual tradition of ulama, especially writing books in pesantren and religious institutions.
"The tradition of ulama is the tradition of knowledge. And the tradition of knowledge will not be strong without the tradition of writing," said KH Zulfa Mustofa in Jakarta on Thursday. He emphasized that the books of ulama serve as bridges of knowledge across generations.
The event is held ahead of the 35th PBNU Muktamar scheduled at Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas in Jombang. KH Zulfa invited ulama and academics to continue producing new works that address contemporary challenges.
