Kit Harington skipped Game of Thrones finale for rehab

Kit Harington revealed he entered rehab as the final season of Game of Thrones began airing in 2019.

He said he checked into treatment for anxiety and alcohol issues as episode 1 aired and stayed six weeks. Harington explained he chose to step away from press duties to focus on sobriety. He added that he took a year off work afterward, though the pandemic delayed his return. The actor also noted his recent roles include many nude scenes. He said he has considered stopping for the sake of his two young children with wife Rose Leslie.
