Electronic Arts will release Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition on Apple Arcade on August 7. The game will be available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, six days before the PC and console versions.
The Apple Arcade edition includes controller support and touch controls. Player ratings will update based on real-life performances. Modes available include Quick Play and Franchise, where users manage a team toward Super Bowl success.
This marks the first time the Madden NFL series appears on Apple Arcade. It also returns to Mac after a 19-year absence, following Madden NFL 08 from 2007.
The title joins other sports games on the service, such as NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Football Manager 26 Touch. Retro Bowl College+ is scheduled to arrive on August 6.
