A major fire in Breidenbach, Landkreis Marburg-Biedenkopf, has destroyed a multi-family house, causing damage estimated at several hundred thousand euros. Residents escaped unharmed on their own before the flames spread throughout the building. The cause is under investigation by criminal police.
In Breidenbach, a fire broke out overnight in a room of a multi-family house. Witnesses reported it, but by the time emergency services arrived, the entire building was engulfed in flames, police reported.
Residents had left the house independently and unharmed before the fire spread to the whole structure. Due to structural damage, the building is now cordoned off and uninhabitable.
