Zuberi Sharp received a sentence of 15 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his 15-year-old half-brother Zayde Koehohou.
The sentencing took place Tuesday in Ventura County, California, following Sharp's guilty plea on March 30. Prosecutors said Sharp admitted to inflicting great bodily injury on the victim, using a weapon and targeting someone particularly vulnerable during the crime.
