Alfonso Fernández Mañueco announced the new regional executive on Saturday after his investiture with Vox support. The cabinet retains several PP councilors and assigns Vox one vice presidency and three ministries.
Castilla y León president Alfonso Fernández Mañueco revealed the members of his third government since 2019 on Saturday. The cabinet includes nine councilors and two vice presidencies, with the PP holding most positions and Vox receiving the first vice presidency and three areas.
Vox’s Carlos Pollán will serve as first vice president with responsibilities for Deregulation, Family and Social Aid, which include immigration and development cooperation. Juan Carlos Suárez-Quiñones moves from Environment to Industry, Universities, Employment and Commerce, while María González Corral will head Environment and Energy.
New PP appointees include María Pardo in Education and Cristina Sanchidrián in Mobility, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence. The appointments will be officially published on Monday in the Boletín Oficial de Castilla y León and the officials will take office that day.
