Police were called late Wednesday evening to the Coop store in Djurås around closing time. A young masked man approached, displayed a pistol, and declared it a robbery, according to duty officer Mats Thörn.
Staff retreated to a personnel area and alerted police, while the masked man possibly spoke to another person. The robbers had fled by the time officers arrived. Thörn said two people may have been involved.
No one was physically injured. Police have filed a report for aggravated robbery and cordoned off the scene. It is unclear if anything was stolen.
Officers are seeking observations from Djurås between 9 and 11 p.m. that evening and continue the investigation, Thörn said.
