Matlock renewed for third season

The CBS series Matlock, starring Kathy Bates, has been renewed for a third season.

Matlock features Bates as Madeline Matlock, a woman in her 70s who joins a law firm to expose those responsible for her daughter's death from opioids. The show is a reimagining of the 1986 series starring Andy Griffith. New episodes are not expected until 2027.
