Megha Ganne begins pro career at U.S. Women's Open

Megha Ganne, the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur champion, makes her professional debut this week at the 81st U.S. Women’s Open at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Ganne helped Stanford win the NCAA Championship last week. She finished second in stroke play and went undefeated in match play, clinching the title-winning point against USC. She said she learned from missing the cut at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur that setbacks change nothing and life goes on. Ganne added that she is excited to build new routines as a professional with full Epson Tour status. Amy Alcott, a Hall of Famer and five-time major winner who grew up near Riviera, serves as an ambassador for the event. She won the 1980 U.S. Women’s Open and is now a club member.
