Microsoft reports strong azure growth in q3 earnings

Microsoft posted better than expected third quarter results driven by sustained demand for its cloud and artificial intelligence offerings.

Azure cloud services achieved constant currency growth of 39 percent, matching the upper end of recent performance levels. The company guided for similar expansion in the fourth quarter at 39 to 40 percent.
