Mixed-use development needed to resolve housing problems

Abay Homes Real State has launched its Downtown project in partnership with Mexiko Africa Plc. The initiative aims to permanently address the housing shortage in Addis Ababa through collaboration.

Ato Mentesnot Tadesse, Director of Abay Homes Managing, stated that to permanently solve the housing problem in Addis Ababa, it is essential to work in collaboration and with focus. From the government side, facilitating and supporting housing development works carried out in collaboration with the private sector and societies is necessary.

The project is a 3B+G+30 floor complex located directly facing the Mexiko Africa site. Spanning 12,000 square meters, it includes adequate parking, electric vehicle charging stations, rainwater harvesting, and two main gardens for residents and experts. Additionally, it features a garage area, eight elevators per unit, and various amenities.

This mixed commercial and residential building aims to resolve urban quality of life challenges by offering a modern design suitable for living and work, making it attractive for investment through Mexiko Africa Plc.
