MoDo signs Troy Bourke as new center

Canadian forward Troy Bourke has signed with MoDo for the 2026/27 season. The 32-year-old arrives from EC Salzburg with an option for an additional year.

Sportchef Henrik Gradin confirmed the deal on the club's website. Bourke can play center or wing and is expected to serve as one of the team's top centers.

Bourke spent the past four seasons with EC Salzburg, where he helped win the league three straight years from 2023 to 2025. He recorded 108 points in 129 regular-season games and added 39 points in 52 playoff contests.

Earlier in his career, Bourke played for Kärpät in Finland and Schwenninger in Germany. He also appeared in 267 AHL games before moving to Europe.

Bourke said he has heard good things about MoDo and looks forward to contributing his playoff experience to the team in HockeyAllsvenskan.
