Moreno joined the group in 1999 and became known for narrating important SporTV broadcasts, especially finals of Carioca football teams. He also covered open TV events for Globo, such as 2002 World Cup matches and the Paris Olympic Games. Additionally, he featured in shows like Esporte Espetacular.
The news, revealed by columnist Gabriel Vaquer, surprised those behind the scenes at the channel. This is the second significant dismissal in SporTV's narrator team in 2026, following Odinei Ribeiro's exit earlier in the month after 18 years with the company. The channel is gearing up for 2026 World Cup coverage, making the changes particularly noteworthy.
