Police in North West Delhi arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl, who remains in critical condition. The accused, a neighbor, lured the child away under the pretense of buying her treats. The incident occurred on Monday evening while the victim's mother prepared dinner.

On Monday evening, as the victim's mother prepared dinner, the accused neighbor approached her home and offered to take the four-year-old girl out for a treat. According to police officers, he took the child to a nearby shop, purchased chocolates for her, and then led her away to sexually assault her.

The girl returned home about an hour later, her clothes bloodstained, prompting her mother to immediately call the police. The victim was rushed to a hospital and remains in critical care.
