Nye tall viser store kjønnsforskjeller i partioppslutning

Demoskops meningsmåling for april avdekker tydelige kjønnsforskjeller i støtten til de svenske partiene. Blant menn har Tidö-partiene 53 prosent, mens opposisjonen har 45 prosent. Blant kvinner er situasjonen omvendt, med 63 prosent til opposisjonen og 36 prosent til Tidö-partiene.

Forskjellene har blitt tydeligere over tid, ifølge meningsmålingssjef Johan Martinsson hos Demoskop. Sverigedemokraterna står for en stor del av gapet med 24 prosent oppslutning blant menn og 15 prosent blant kvinner. Moderaterna samles i Stockholm denne helgen for å diskutere hvordan de kan tiltrekke seg flere kvinnelige velgere. Kulturminister Parisa Liljestrand sier at Moderaterna må bli flinkere til å forklare bakgrunnen for reformene sine. Miljöpartiet har det motsatte problemet med bare 5 prosent oppslutning blant menn, sammenlignet med 10 prosent blant kvinner. Kristdemokraterna har 6 prosent blant menn og 3 prosent blant kvinner.
