Oasis contributes exclusive live 'Acquiesce' to War Child's HELP(2) charity album

Oasis features on the upcoming HELP(2) compilation album benefiting War Child with an exclusive live version of 'Acquiesce', recorded at Wembley Stadium on 28 September 2025. The follow-up to the 1995 HELP album releases on 6 March and includes artists like Arctic Monkeys and Fontaines D.C.

War Child Records has announced Oasis's contribution to the forthcoming HELP(2) album: a live rendition of 'Acquiesce', captured during the band's final night of a seven-night residency at Wembley Stadium on 28 September 2025. Titled 'Acquiesce (Live from Wembley Stadium, 28 September ‘25)', the track appears as an exclusive 7” single in the gatefold of the vinyl edition, a hidden track on the double CD, and streams from 6 March.

Originally the 1995 B-side to Oasis's first UK No.1 'Some Might Say', 'Acquiesce' gets its first physical live release from the tour. This echoes Oasis's role on the original HELP album, which opened with their 'Fade Away'; Noel Gallagher also joined Paul McCartney and Paul Weller on that project as part of The Smokin’ Mojo Filters.

Producer James Ford commented: “The original HELP meant a lot to me and to have the opportunity, given the current news cycle, to help galvanize our music community into doing something as unarguably positive as helping children in war zones seemed like a no brainer.” He added, “The experience of making the album itself has been very powerful, and dare I say life affirming for me personally, against the backdrop of a very difficult year. I’m extremely proud of the results and of the efforts made by all involved. I can’t wait for people to hear this very special record.”

HELP(2) supports War Child's work providing aid, education, mental health, and protection to children in conflict zones. Prior singles include 'Helicopters' by Ezra Collective and Greentea Peng, 'Begging For Change' by Pulp, 'Opening Night' by Arctic Monkeys, 'Flags' by Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten, and Kae Tempest, and 'Let’s Do It Again!' by The Last Dinner Party.

The lineup features Anna Calvi, Arlo Parks, Arooj Aftab, Bat For Lashes, Beabadoobee, Beck, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Black Country, New Road, Cameron Winter, Depeche Mode, Dove Ellis, Ellie Rowsell, English Teacher, Foals, Fontaines D.C., Graham Coxon, King Krule, Nilüfer Yanya, Olivia Rodrigo, Sampha, Wet Leg, and Young Fathers. The album releases 6 March via War Child Records.
