Ocean Way Festival has revealed its headliners for the debut event on Santa Monica Beach. The Killers and Olivia Dean will top the bill for the two-day festival scheduled for September 26 and 27.
The new music festival is produced by Goldenvoice and marks the first major event of its kind on the Santa Monica coastline. Additional performers include Jack White, Alvvays, Sublime, Khruangbin, Hiatus Kaiyote, Durand Jones & The Indications, SG Lewis, Blond:ish, and a DJ set from Hot Chip.
Tickets go on sale to Santa Monica residents on July 22 and to the general public on July 23. Options include two-day and single-day passes with general admission and premium tiers.
Goldenvoice vice president Nic Adler highlighted the area's music history in a statement. Santa Monica Mayor Caroline Torosis noted the festival aligns with the city's Realignment Plan for cultural vitality.
The event will include free community activities beforehand and a Proper Beach Club hospitality area developed with Proper Hotels.
