Musician Henry Ohanga, known as Octopizzo, has announced his plan to contest the Kibra parliamentary seat in the 2027 elections. He stressed that his goal is not wealth but helping the community.
Octopizzo said he has already achieved financial success through his music and businesses. Born and raised in Kibra, he has worked to improve residents' lives via the Octopizzo Foundation.
He explained that serving as MP would provide a stronger platform to assist more people. His music frequently addresses political matters and defends communities against poor government policies.
His decision stems from his firsthand understanding of local challenges, and he seeks real change for residents of his birthplace.
