Abdur Rahman Kharsany, the Community Fundraiser for Islamic Relief, highlighted the purpose of the funds raised. "The funds will go to the organisation’s Orphan General Fund which helps families in need, especially vulnerable children," Kharsany stated. He further noted the global impact of donor contributions, explaining that supporters from around the world sponsor R1 200 monthly to meet children's basic rights.

This event underscores the community's commitment to aiding local and international causes. By combining sports like padel and soccer, Islamic Relief engages participants in a meaningful way to drive fundraising efforts. The tournament's success reflects ongoing efforts to address vulnerabilities faced by children and families.
