The Fall 2026 Paris Fashion Week extended beyond runways with lively parties across the city. At the newly opened Roger Vivier maison, a daytime bash celebrated the brand's maximalist-leaning collection. Creative director Gherardo Felloni drew from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1980s archives, featuring items like zebra print thigh-high boots, rhinestone-encrusted vests, and bow-topped pillbox hats. Attendees including Alexa Chung, Aubrey Plaza, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Inès de La Fressange enjoyed coffee, cocktails, and photos on a palatial marble staircase. Guests explored the archives through a medieval-esque wooden door, viewing originals alongside vintage magazines and press releases.
Felloni shared insights with Vogue: “I always start from the archive, which I love so much. This season, I explored this chapter of the archive that, for me, is the expression of Roger Vivier’s sensuality. He was one of the masters of that.” The collection highlighted embellished velvet cuissardes, retro little pumps, and the famed Choc heel from the 1950s. “The Choc heel was one of the most, let’s say, seductive styles,” Felloni added. “So, we started to be a little bit more protective of it.” Flats with hand-crafted leather scarlet red roses also drew attention, with the designer noting: “Every petal is a different size and different position. We create them in-house in our atelier in Italy.” An artisan demonstrated the assembly process on-site.
On Thursday night, Jana Sascha, creative director of De La Vali, hosted cocktails in the penthouse of Hôtel Madame Rêve to mark an exclusive capsule with Moda Operandi. The event attracted tastemakers like Aimee Lou Wood, Georgia Fowler, Bianca Brandolini, Noor Fares, Jazzy de Lisser, Bella Tilbury, and Chiara Totire, many wearing pieces from the Spring Summer ‘26 collection of zebra-printed silk chiffons and liquid-look silhouettes. Mary Charteris spun Italo-disco as guests sipped cocktails named after dresses, including the spirit-free Attica Spritz Bloom made with French Bloom's Le Blanc. A tarot reader entertained amid a full moon, and a black-and-white red velvet cake from Patisserie Bre arrived later. By then, many had moved to the terrace overlooking Église Saint-Eustache, holding Vogue cigarettes.
