PP adjusts message to back nationality for descendants with rigor

The Popular Party has clarified its support for Spanish nationality for descendants of Spaniards but demands a law with strict controls and parliamentary debate.

Parliamentary spokesperson Ester Muñoz criticized the 2022 instruction that broadened cases beyond exiles. Muñoz questioned the speed of the process and the use of external companies to handle applications.

Isabel Díaz Ayuso announced possible EU actions and accused the government of favoring CERA votes. The PP plans parliamentary questions and the appearance of Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares.
