Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez toured the Wajay Defense Zone in Boyeros municipality on Saturday morning. The president discussed integration of internal order groups with officials.
The president of the National Defense Council listened to accounts from officers about their day-to-day work in the field. He highlighted the contribution of internal order groups alongside other structures.
Díaz-Canel Bermúdez praised the coherent and creative response of these forces. He noted that integration with the people fosters cohesion and improves operations in each district.
Also present were Army Corps General Lázaro Alberto Álvarez Casas, Army Corps General Roberto Legrá Sotolongo and Major General José Amado Ricardo Guerra.
