A woman identified as a vlogger supporting President Marcos was killed and her partner wounded in a shooting incident early Friday morning in Caloocan City.
Police said a neighbor heard several gunshots outside his residence before dawn on Friday. The neighbor found the vlogger lying unconscious on the road with a gunshot wound to the head. Her partner remained conscious but had multiple gunshot wounds.
The partner was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Investigators are examining a motorcycle-riding tandem as possible suspects in the attack.
National Capital Region Police Office spokesperson Maj. Hazel Asilo said investigators have no update on the motive. She added that the victim was a BBM loyalist based on her social media posts. A case conference at the Caloocan City Police Station is ongoing.
