PUMA adds Vibram soles to classic suede sneaker

PUMA has released a new version of its Suede sneaker featuring Vibram rubber soles. The update gives the 58-year-old model a more sophisticated appearance while retaining its soft suede upper.

The German sportswear brand introduced the PUMA Suede Vibram with official yellow Vibram stamps on the soles. Available colorways include black and chocolate brown.

The brown pairs are scheduled to go on sale July 18 through PUMA's website at a price of $150. This marks an increase over the standard Suede model.

The chunky Vibram soles provide superior grip and shift the shoe toward a dressier style, similar to certain adidas luxe offerings.
