Guillermo Formigoni takes over as Rappi general director in Brazil with a focus on expanding the Rappi Turbo service for fast supermarket deliveries.
Formigoni, a 45-year-old Argentine engineer who has lived in Brazil since 2009, was hired in October 2025. He replaces Felipe Criniti, who remains with the company until the end of the year to lead the Rappi Cargo operation.
The executive sets accelerating Rappi Turbo as his main goal. The service provides ten-minute deliveries of supermarket products, pharmacies and other items. The Brazilian operation is seen as a benchmark for Rappi across Latin America, with vast growth potential according to Formigoni.
The company plans to invest R$ 1.4 billion in Brazil, where it reports about 40% annual growth. New centers opened in Osasco and the Campinas region, with turbo coverage in 90% of areas near Marginal Tietê in São Paulo. The app now offers five thousand product categories.
