Registration calendar for Mujeres Bienestar pension starts in December

Mexico's Welfare Secretariat announced the registration calendar for the Mujeres Bienestar Pension, starting December 1, 2025, for women aged 60 to 64. The process is organized by the initial of the first surname to avoid crowds and runs until December 13. Welfare Secretary Ariadna Montiel detailed that the program provides 3,000 pesos bimonthly.

The Mexican government, under President Claudia Sheinbaum, launched the Mujeres Bienestar Pension as one of its key social programs to support women aged 60 to 64 who do not yet qualify for the universal 65-year-old pension. This bimonthly aid of 3,000 pesos aims to benefit 2.9 million Mexican women, according to Welfare Secretariat data.

Ariadna Montiel, Welfare Secretary, presented the calendar during the December 1, 2025, morning press conference. Registration opens for those who turned 60 since August 2025 or will in December. It occurs Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at local Welfare Modules, locatable via an online map by selecting state and municipality.

The calendar by first surname initial is as follows:
- Monday, December 1 and 8: A, B, C.
- Tuesday, 2 and 9: D, E, F, G, H.
- Wednesday, 3 and 10: I, J, K, L, M.
- Thursday, 4 and 11: N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R.
- Friday, 5 and 12: S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.
- Saturday, 6 and 13: All letters.

Montiel emphasized: “We are closing the year and the Welfare Secretariat's programs have already been fully delivered.” Registration requires valid official ID (such as INE or passport), recent printed CURP, birth certificate, proof of address no older than six months, and contact phone numbers.

For those with reduced mobility, home registration is available by calling 800 639 42 64, where a national server will visit the home. The government invested 23,662 million pesos in 2025 for this program, with 56,969 million budgeted for 2026. Additionally, the November bimonthly payment, covering both this pension and the 65+ one (benefiting 13.2 million), totaled 508 billion pesos, concluded on November 27.
