Rögle has signed American defenseman Paul LaDue to a new contract for the 2026/27 season. The 33-year-old joined the SHL club last year on a one-year deal.
The announcement came on Tuesday from the club in Ängelholm. LaDue recorded 19 points in 47 regular-season games and added four more points in 17 playoff contests during his first year with Rögle.
Sporting director Hampus Sjöström praised the player's reliability. "Paul is a dependable player and had a very strong finish to last season," Sjöström said. "He is stable defensively and also contributed offensively."
LaDue previously played for MoDo in the SHL during the 2024/25 season. The extension resolves earlier uncertainty about his future with the team.
