Save the Children International (SCI), the world's leading independent non-profit organization for children, has invited competent and reputable security guard companies to prequalify and establish a three-year fixed framework agreement, with possible extension, for outsourcing security services at its Addis Ababa Country Office facilities. The services will cover various compounds including offices and warehouses, commencing January 1, 2026. The tender, referenced SCI-ET-2025-021, allows for a three-year period extendable upon satisfactory performance and agreement by both SCI and the provider.
Potential bidders can obtain tender documents for a non-refundable fee of ETB 100 from the SCI Addis Ababa Country Office during working hours, from October 28, 2025, to November 14, 2025. The office is located close to Meskel Square, near the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
A bid security of ETB 100,000 in the name of “Save the Children International,” in the form of a CPO or bank guarantee valid for at least three months from the submission date, must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope. Cash and insurance bonds are not accepted. Technical proposals are to be emailed in soft copy to ethiopia.bidsubm@savethechildren.org by close of business on November 17, 2025, with the subject line “SCI-ET-2025-021 Bidder Response – ‘Bidder Name’, ‘Date’.” Financial proposals must be submitted in hard copy, sealed, to the SCI Ethiopia Country Office by the same deadline.
