Scott Coker MMA promotion adds Steve Bornstein to advisory board

Scott Coker's new global mixed martial arts promotion has added Steve Bornstein, a former ESPN and NFL Network executive, to its advisory board. The appointment strengthens the leadership team ahead of the planned 2027 launch.

Scott Coker welcomed the addition in a statement. "I’m thrilled to welcome Steve Bornstein to our advisory board," Coker said. "I’ve admired what Steve has accomplished throughout his career & the impact he has made across the sports industry. His experience, perspective & belief in what we’re building will be invaluable as we continue."

Bornstein brings extensive media and sports broadcasting experience to the new promotion. The organization aims to establish itself as a global MMA entity.

The hiring reflects ongoing efforts to build out the promotion's structure before its debut.
