Production begins this spring in Los Angeles and Ventura under Blue Bow Tie Productions, led by Casey Krehbiel, with Jaime Gallagher serving as co-producer and casting director. Freddy Piazza, known for the short film ‘Overdue’ and stage productions ‘Face Divided’ and ‘9 Circles,’ brings a social media following of 1 million on TikTok and 100,000 on Instagram. His move from North Carolina to Los Angeles has drawn significant online attention. Rachel Alig appears in ‘Mistake’ and ‘Found Footage,’ Francesca Rowe in microdramas ‘Playing it Real’ and ‘Broken Queen,’ and K.C. Wolf in ‘Yesterday.’ Hughes previously directed festival shorts including ‘A Curious View,’ ‘Where Does the Maiden Lie?’ and ‘Fractal Chaos,’ screened at events like the Catalina Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival and LA Shorts International Film Festival. Piazza is represented by Untitled Entertainment, Alig by Exclusive Artists and Wolf by Fictious.
