Suspect hands himself in after stabbing Bethlehem teen

A suspect surrendered to police after a 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in the head with a screwdriver in Bohlokong near Bethlehem.

The victim was taking a walk when attacked. He was admitted to a local hospital with serious injuries and later died.

Police spokesperson Mmako Mophiring confirmed the details. The suspect handed himself over and was detained.

A murder case is under investigation. The suspect is expected to appear before the Bethlehem Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
