Switch 2 version of 007 First Light sees good progress

IO Interactive reports steady advancement on the Switch 2 edition of 007 First Light. The studio aims for a summer release after delaying the port from the game's May launch on other platforms.

IO Interactive senior licensing producer Theuns Smit said the team is seeing really good progress on the optimisation side of things. He added that development is charging ahead and going great while remaining on track.

Smit emphasised the need for additional time in optimisation and performance. The goal is to reach the quality the studio desires and that players deserve.

The game has been available on PC, Xbox and PlayStation since the end of May. IO Interactive has not announced a specific Switch 2 date but has stated it is looking forward to later this summer.
