Taylor Swift song earns 2026's biggest UK sales week

Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" has achieved the biggest sales week of 2026 in the United Kingdom during its second week at number one.

The track, which debuted at the top of the Official Singles Chart on June 12, reached 71,000 chart units this week. This figure surpasses Harry Styles' "Aperture," which recorded 70,000 units in January.

Limited-edition CD and vinyl releases helped drive the results. The Official Charts Company noted that this marks the biggest pure sales week since November 2023, when the Beatles released "Now and Then."

Swift now holds seven UK number-one singles. The song remains at the summit as of June 19.
