TCL unveils X11L SQD-Mini LED TVs at CES 2026

TCL has introduced its latest flagship mini LED televisions, the X11L SQD-Mini LED Series, at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The new models feature advanced color technology and high brightness levels, available for pre-order in sizes up to 98 inches. Prices start at $7,000 for the 75-inch version.

TCL revealed the X11L SQD-Mini LED Series during CES 2026, marking the next step in its premium television lineup. This series builds on previous models with significant upgrades in display and audio performance. The televisions are offered in three sizes: 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch, with pre-orders open now. Pricing reflects their high-end positioning, at $7,000 for the 75-inch, $8,000 for the 85-inch, and $10,000 for the 98-inch model. These costs more than double those of the QD-Mini LED TV TCL showcased at last year's CES.

A key innovation is the Deep Color System, which combines Super Quantum Dots, the CSOT UltraColor Filter, and the Advanced Color Purity Algorithm to enhance color accuracy. While mini LED technology cannot replicate OLED's perfect blacks, the X11L incorporates TCL's Halo Control System to minimize blooming effects. The displays support 20,000 discrete dimming zones and achieve a peak brightness of 10,000 nits, promising vivid visuals even in bright environments.

Audio remains a strong suit, with Bang & Olufsen handling the sound system. An upgraded AI processor improves color, contrast, clarity, motion handling, upscaling, and audio quality. The TVs integrate Gemini for Google TV, providing seamless smart features.

CES 2026 runs from January 4 to 9 in Las Vegas, where TCL's announcement joins announcements from brands like Samsung, LG, and NVIDIA. Coverage continues with upcoming events from Sony, Afeela, and AMD.
