Tehuti Miles debuts in AEW after six-month contract

Former WWE wrestler Tehuti Miles, previously known as Ashante “Thee” Adonis, made his debut for All Elite Wrestling on March 1, 2026, during Ring of Honor television tapings. Reports indicate he signed with AEW in the first week of September 2025, shortly after his WWE contract expired. This marks his return to the ring since a June 2024 match on WWE NXT.

Tehuti Miles, a 36-year-old wrestler formerly competing as Ashante “Thee” Adonis in WWE, has been under contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) for six months, according to a report from Fightful Select. He quietly signed with the promotion during the first week of September 2025, following the expiration of his WWE contract on August 10, 2025.

Miles made his surprise in-ring debut on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the Ring of Honor (ROH) television tapings held at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida. This appearance was his first televised match since losing to Ricky Saints in a singles bout on WWE NXT in June 2024.

Upon leaving WWE, Miles expressed gratitude on social media for his six years with the company. “After 6 unforgettable years under the WWE lights, the time has come for me to close that chapter. I’m filled with nothing but gratitude for every opportunity… I’m truly excited to show the world what I can really do. Sometimes you gotta get off multiplayer and progress your story mode,” he wrote.

Miles first joined WWE in 2019, establishing himself on the NXT and 205 Live brands. In 2021, he became part of the faction Hit Row alongside Swerve Strickland (then Isaiah “Swerve” Scott), A.J. Francis (Top Dolla), and B-Fab. The group was called up to SmackDown in late 2021 but was released shortly afterward. Miles returned to WWE in August 2022 under the Paul “Triple H” Levesque regime, though Hit Row struggled to regain momentum without Strickland, who had signed with AEW. The group later returned to NXT in the summer of 2024. Despite multiple runs across brands, Miles did not capture any championship gold in WWE.

Now, Miles joins his former Hit Row stablemate Swerve Strickland in the AEW/ROH ecosystem.
