Tesla launches campaign to debunk electric vehicle myths

Tesla has started a new campaign to address common concerns about electric vehicle ownership. The effort focuses on battery health, charging times, and travel range.

The automaker shared details through its official Tesla Charging account. It highlighted that about 75 percent of charging occurs overnight or during work hours. This setup allows drivers to start each day with a full battery.

For road trips, Tesla noted that its Superchargers can deliver roughly 200 miles of range in 15 minutes. The company also said drivers do not need its premium Wall Connector. A lower-cost Mobile Connector works with standard household outlets for typical commutes under 40 miles.

Fleet data showed no major long-term battery degradation from frequent fast charging. Tesla added that its Supercharger network now covers more than 99 percent of highways in North America and Europe.
