Three countries' drinks removed from EPCOT's Club Cool

Visitors to Walt Disney World Resort's EPCOT have noticed the absence of soft drink flavors from three countries at the Club Cool tasting experience. Opaque plastic cups have replaced the usual Coca-Cola branded ones. Cast members say they do not know when the items will return.

This week, guests at EPCOT's Club Cool found changes to the popular international beverage tasting area. Three specific soft drink flavors were missing from self-serve machines: Minute Maid Joy Apple Lychee from Korea and Country Club Merengue from the Dominican Republic were absent entirely, while Sprite Cucumber from Russia was missing from multiple machines, though not all. Additionally, the standard clear plastic cups with the red Coca-Cola logo have been swapped for opaque plastic ones near the fountain beverage machines, as shown in a photo shared by WDWNT on Facebook. It remains unclear if these are temporary measures, perhaps due to a delay in branded cup shipments, or a permanent adjustment. Disney cast members reportedly could not provide information on restocking timelines for the flavors. Club Cool, sponsored by Coca-Cola, has long offered free samples of international soft drinks alongside options to buy fountain drinks, frozen beverages, bottled drinks, and merchandise. Among its offerings is the notoriously bitter Italian soda Beverly, often used in pranks on newcomers.
