A tourist died and three others were injured when their SUV crashed into an under-construction bridge near the Atal Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday.
The accident occurred when the vehicle, identified as a Scorpio, struck the unfinished structure. Iron bars from the bridge pierced the SUV, causing severe damage.
Three other tourists in the vehicle sustained injuries. The incident took place near the Atal Tunnel in the Lahaul-Manali region.
Authorities are investigating the crash, which happened on the same day the report was published.
