Burn Care
The World Health Organization presented the Director-General’s Award to Egyptian physician Heba El Sewedy during the opening of the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva. The honour recognises her work as founder of the Ahl Masr Foundation and Burn Hospital in advancing burn treatment. Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar attended the ceremony.

Ahl Masr Burn Hospital has successfully concluded the inaugural edition of its First Medical Forum for Burn Care after two days of intensive scientific discussions. The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and the World Health Organization. It marked the first scientific platform dedicated exclusively to burn care in Egypt.
