Director pens 'Family Stone' sequel after Diane Keaton's death

Thomas Bezucha, writer and director of the 2005 holiday film 'The Family Stone,' is developing a sequel following the recent death of star Diane Keaton. Keaton, who played family matriarch Sybil Stone, passed away in October 2025 at age 79. Bezucha has shared that he was already working on the project, inspired by the character's storyline, and aims to honor Keaton's legacy.
