BNPB's Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team has identified 20 bodies from the Cisarua landslide in West Bandung Regency, handed over to families for burial. The landslide struck on January 24, 2026, due to heavy rain, killing including 23 TNI AL Marines in training, with 19 still missing. The identification process for victims of the ATR 42-500 plane crash on the Yogyakarta-Makassar route has concluded, with all 10 victims successfully identified by the National Police's Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team in Makassar. Including one bodypack containing bones confirmed as part of one victim, the remains have been handed over to families.
