The first match pits the AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR—Dax and Cash—against Rated R Cope and Christian Cage. According to the promotion, Dax and Cash 'tried to take everything from Cope + Cage including attacking Adam’s wife Beth.' Now, the two teams will battle for the gold on the event card. AEW also set Jon Moxley against Will Ospreay for the Continental Title. Moxley had sidelined Ospreay for half a year, and since Ospreay's return at AEW Revolution, the challenger has sought a one-on-one confrontation with Moxley.
