Argentina sends Hercules plane to Bolivia for food distribution

The Argentine government sent a Hercules C-130 aircraft to Bolivia to carry out air bridges transporting food and essential goods amid shortages caused by protests. Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno stated the measure is humanitarian and temporary, responding to a request from President Rodrigo Paz's government.

The Argentine Air Force Hercules C-130 was authorized through coordination between the Defense and Foreign Affairs ministries. Quirno clarified that Argentina is only providing the aircraft, while supplies will come from Bolivia.

The move responds to shortages in several Bolivian cities, where worker and peasant marches have led to road blockades and lack of food. Quirno highlighted positive bilateral ties since Paz took office and expressed confidence in a quick resolution through commitment from all involved parties.

On social media, the foreign minister referenced the Bolivian request and described the contribution as part of strong relations between the two nations.
