New York Times bestselling author Ayana Gray is scheduled to appear at the Ross Pendergraft Library Author Series on March 19. The event will feature a meet-and-greet reception starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by her talk at 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Ross Pendergraft Library Author Series at Arkansas Tech University will host Ayana Gray, a New York Times bestselling author, on March 19 at the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, located at 305 West Q Street in Russellville, Arkansas.
The evening begins with a meet-and-greet reception at 5:30 p.m., sponsored by the Arkansas Tech University Black Student Association and the ATU Black Faculty and Staff Organization. Gray's presentation follows at 6 p.m. This event is part of the library's ongoing author series, which is free and open to the public.
Gray is known for her young adult fiction series, including "Beasts of Prey" released in 2022, "Beasts of Ruin" in 2023, and "Beasts of War" in 2024. Her upcoming young adult novel, "Hawk and Sparrow," is set for release on September 1. She has also authored an adult book, "I, Medusa," published in 2025.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Gray now resides in Arkansas. Her works have been translated into a dozen languages across five continents, according to a university news release.
