Baldur’s Gate 3 fans ask Gerard Way to play

Fans at a My Chemical Romance concert in London asked singer Gerard Way whether he has played Baldur’s Gate 3. Developer Larian Studios quickly responded with an offer of a free code.

At a recent show at Wembley Stadium, a fan displayed a banner asking Way if he had played the game. Band bassist Mikey Way pointed it out onstage, prompting the singer to reply that he had only played the first Baldur’s Gate and an Icewind Dale expansion.

Way then asked the audience whether they had tried Baldur’s Gate 3 and whether it was good, drawing loud applause. Larian Studios posted on X the same day offering a code in his name.

The exchange highlights ongoing fan interest in connecting the singer with the role-playing game, which features a prominent vampire character named Astarion.
