Bank of Baroda posts 11 percent rise in Q4 profit

Bank of Baroda reported an 11.2 percent increase in consolidated profit for the fourth quarter. Profit after tax reached Rs 5,616 crore, helped by higher net interest income and improved asset quality.

The bank saw net interest income grow 9 percent during the period. Deposits and advances both recorded double-digit expansion, while loan growth remained strong overall.
